Deliverability & Accuracy of Databases
Our in-house data processing staff regularly completes the following
processes on all our databases to ensure the data is as deliverable
and accurate as possible.
Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS)
We utilize software approved by the U. S. Postal Service that cleans
and standardizes address information. This software corrects any
inaccurate address spelling, and standardizes the name of U.S. cities
and two-character state abbreviations.
Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Preference Services
As a member of the Direct Marketing Association, we receive DMA
Mail and Telephone Preference files. These are files with names
of individuals who have requested that their name be excluded from
any direct mail or telemarketing solicitation. If you would like
more information about these files for your own use, click on www.the-dma.org
and do a search for DMA preference files. We also remove any consumers
who have registered on the federal Do Not Call file. See information
below for more information on the federal Do Not Call.
National Change of Address Processing (NCOA)
This is a file provided by the USPS of all reported change of addresses.
We regularly complete this process to ensure the highest possible
percentage of deliverability and address accuracy.
Do Not Call Regulations
If you make calls to prospects or customer service calls, the Do
Not Call Regulations will apply. The Do Not Call Regulations do
not allow you to call consumers who have been placed on the federal
Do Not Call Registry if you do not have an existing business relationship,
or business exemption. The regulations also apply to more than just
Do Not Call. There are regulations regarding when you can call consumers,
using predictive dialers, how to identify yourself as a seller,
and implementing an in-house company Do Not Call list. Click on
this link for more information on Do Not Call. www.telemarketing.donotcall.gov.
